Getting Life Skill

Once you have a name, go into town and talk to Inala.

She will give you the quest to get life skill.  To see all your active quests, say "quests".  Then you walk out the door that she is in front of, which is in the bottom right of that hall, and go to the door to the farthest left on the bottom once you enter the new hall.  Then continue down until you go through one more door.  Now you are in the field.  Once you are in the field, keep going down until you find Lysis's hut.

Then when you go inside, you will see a girl named Lysis.

Then you talk to her.  To talk to NPCs, you literately have to talk to them as if they were another player.  So say "hi" and continue to have a conversation with her until she says you need to pay 10 gold to be taught life skill.  Then, once you get 10 gold, talk to her again.  And then, if you accept her offer and pay 10 gold, you will have life skill. 

The XP bar shows how close you are to the next level.  The more stuff you kill, the more the bar grows, and when it reaches the end, you level up.  When you level up, you get more health, which shows up as more squares on the life bar.  Say "skills" to see all your skills.

First Starting Out

When you first enter the world of Aberoth, you are locked in a jail cell.  On the other side of the door, there should be a key. 

Left click on it to pick it up.  Then, when it is in your inventory, which is just to the left of your hp bar, you can click on the door to open it.  Run past the Orc because he will kill you if you don't.  Then follow the path and kill the bat.  Also reading the "Hints" that appear in the bottom left corner will help you out a lot.  After the bat is dead, he will drop gold.  All mobs do this and you can pick it up by left clicking on it.  It shows your gold, attack, and defense on the bottom left of your screen.  Once you have fallen out of the cave, kill bees, bunnies, and bats that you find wandering around.  Once you have 5 gold, say "champion".  Then it will ask for your name and password.  To talk, press enter.
